Program Notes

Passionately Curious is dedicated to my dear teacher and mentor, Professor H. Robert Reynolds. His passion for music education and life-long learning inspired me to compose a fun piece for wind ensemble, one that features the instrument I played when I first met him at the University of Southern California.

The title is taken from a quote attributed to Albert Einstein, “I have no special talent, I am only passionately curious."
