Program Notes

It's impossible to visit Ireland without feeling an instant appreciation for the scenic countryside and the endearing charm of its citizens. Solo trumpet or cornet (cued for euphonium) is packaged with a brief optional vocal solo to highlight the beginning and ending of this beautiful musical tribute. The middle section is pure Irish charm with a light and lively theme performed over the drones of bagpipes along with the sounds of Celtic drumming.
