Program Notes

Northwest Suite was commissioned by the Western International Band Clinic for their 1983 convention. The suite depicts three distinct Northwestern locales. Movement one is a tribute to the dramatic Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. Movement two is Victoria, the quaint island capitol of British Columbia, Canada, and movement three, Oregon's Mount Hood.
