Program Notes

The New Baroque Suite is a composition based on baroque motives. Many wind bands with a certain musical level had a lot of fun with this piece in sixties and seventies. And not only the musicians but also the audience were much pleased with the fine melodies and the beautiful timbre.

The New Baroque Suite consists of three parts: Overture, Air and Fugueing Tune.
