Program Notes
My Voice was completed in 2010, and the title is intended to depict the techniques and harmonic vocabulary that help to define the composer's voice, including chordal sonorities, soft dissonances, lyrical melodies, poly-rhythm techniques, and a neo-tonal neo-romantic flavor. The entire work ends quietly as if one was fading away into th esunset.
