Program Notes

Glen Osser's orchestra was featured in this [television] series [1959] which changed its name to Music For A Spring Night during its last few months.

Although this was an attempt by ABC to continue "prestige" programming following the end of The Voice Of Firestone, there were scheduling pre-emptions due to news special reports, and critics thought the show didn't have the level of quality of "Firestone" to which it was unfavorably compared.

Despite its low budget, Osser was one of the best arrangers of music during the classic radio/early television era.
