Program Notes
Mångata was written in 2016 for the Milieu Percussion Quartet. The title is a Swedish word used to describe the road-like reflection of moonlight on water. It is scored for percussion quartet and employs one vibraphone, one concert bass drum, two floor bass drums, two gongs, and four egg chimes.
