- Program Note from score

Legend of a Mountain tells the legend of 'La dent du chat', a mountain in the French Savoie. The legend is about a promise not kept, the revenge of a cat and about the mountain 'The tooth of the cat'.

An ominous introduction, followed by a friendly theme in 6/8 measure, turbulent passages, lyrical and aggressive themes as well as dramatic highlights tell this legend.
