Jan Bosveld

Biography

Jan Bosveld (b. 5 February 1963, Rheden, The Netherlands) is a Dutch composer, trumpeter and conductor.

After following a technical education he studied trumpet and conducting at the Conservatory in Arnhem. During his studies he made many arrangements, the majority being for wind orchestra and brass band. Presently, Jan Bosveld has written more than one hundred and sixty arrangements and forty-five compositions.

Besides composing, Jan Bosveld conducts a wind orchestra, a brass band and is very active as a guest conductor, lecturer and jury member.
