- Horn 1 & 2 (Part only) - Measure 20, the eighth note G is missing a sharp, and the last note of the measure (an A) should be a half note
- Horn 1 & 2 (Part only) - Measure 32 to end of piece, it remains in the key of B-flat major. There is a missing E-flat in the key signature in the margins.
Program Notes
I have felt for some time that there was a need for a piece which, in addition to any aesthetic value it might have, could be used as a tool to help develop a better band sound through the performance of a legato style; thus A Hymn for Band.
