Program Notes

This setting of O Holy Night and Silent Night beautifully re-imagines the coloristic possibilities of two Christmas favorites. This arrangement pays respect to the traditional melodies, and especially follows the dramatic contours of Adolphe Adam's O Holy Night, while using original and intriguing harmonic choices.
