Program Notes
Ghost Run is an aggressive and fun piece for concert band written in a standard theme and variation form.
I would like to give a special thanks to my good friend Chris Whitehurst, director of bands at Camden County High School in Carriden, North Carolina, who inspired the original source material for this work. Ghost Run was premiered on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, by the Riverside High School Symphonic Band in Williamston, North Carolina, with the composer conducting.
