Günther Fiala

Biography

Günther Fiala (b. 1982, Pottenstein, Lower Austria) is an Austrian composer and conductor.

Mr. Fiala founded his own youth theater group in his home town of Pottenstein at a young age, which he directed from 1996 to 2011. He has worked musically and with children and young people and is the author and composer of numerous musicals for children, young people and adults.

From 2003 to 2016 he studied music education at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (singing with Brigitte Stradiot, piano with Michael Lipp and Helmuth Luksch, musical composition with Alfred Halbartschlager, composition with Wolfram Wagner) and teaching German at the University of Vienna.
