Program Notes

An absolutely stunning composition created by combining sections from several of Sousa’s arrangements of Yankee Doodle. The main section, the “fugue” is taken from Sousa’s International Congress, and while every note of these arrangements was written by Sousa, Keith Brion and Loras Schissel have combined them into one piece.
