Program Notes

Noted composer James Swearingen offers a personal tribute to a dear friend's passing with this highly emotional work. Beautiful themes coupled with the hymn, All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name, provide the perfect opportunity to reflect on the importance of people who touch our daily lives. You'll appreciate the way this popular composer scores his music, and the inclusion of an optional handbell choir for four people is a creative addition to a piece that is simply stunning in its overall design.

A Friend Remembered is dedicated to the memory of a dear friend (Gary Stotts, December 13, 1944 - July 1, 2007) who was special to one and all.
