Program Notes

Carols are an important part of the holiday season. While most are very hymn-like, they are revered for their simplicity and the meaning of the occasion. Fantasia On We Three Kings is just such a piece. This stunning arrangement for concert band begins from afar with distant percussion and builds to a rich, bold statement of the carol, and then fades once again into the distance.
