Program Notes

Fanfare for Earthrealm is a piece inspired by the video games series Mortal Kombat.

Once a generation, warriors from Earth are chosen to participate in a mystical tournament known as Mortal Kombat. This tournament is a chance for Earth to save itself from other realms that are deemed threats, one of the most infamous realms being Outworld.

This piece describes the perseverance of the brave Earthrealm warriors battling to save their planet, their realm, from annihilation.
