Fanfare for Christmas
N.B. Curnow Music Press published two works entitled Fanfare for Christmas, one by Curnow (Grade 3, undated) and one by Douglas Court (Grade I, 2004). The Cinco Rancho Junior High School Honors Band 2004 Midwest Clinic program indicates Curnow as composer, grade I and published in 1992. No sources can be found to confirm this information. Therefore it is conjectured that Cinco Rancho played this Grade 3 Curnow version, and that the program notation is in error. Other verification desired.

By interweaving fragments of several holiday favorites into a brilliant fanfare, James Curnow has crafted this spirited, festive work. Included are Deck the Halls, Gloria in Excelsis, Good King Wenceslas, Hallelujah Chorus, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells, Joy to the World, Joyful, Joyful, and Wassail Song.
