Program Notes
Composed for the 2000–2001 Marcus High School Concert Band, and dedicated to Whitney and Caitlyn Hazzard, this is a beautifully constructed work. Based on the hymn Abide with Me, the harmonies are complex and lush, and the brass choir in the middle is a heavenly sound.
