Program Notes

This Euphonium Concerto was commissionned by Thierry Debeaupte, soloist at Massy’s opéra house in France, and tuba and euphonium teacher at Gennevilliers’ conservatory.

Written in three movements, with a classical form, it makes use of the large register of the instrument, to glorify it.
