Program Notes
Commissioned by conductor Alan Hanna and the Lamar Middle School Symphonic Band, Flower Mound, Texas. It is lovingly dedicated to his father who passed away on February 22, 2014. Don’s enthusiasm for paso dobles was infectious. This march exemplifies the energy, spirit, and joy Don showed for music and for all of his students.
