Program Notes

Disco Kid was commissioned as one of four test piece options for the 25th (1977) All Japan Band Competition. Althrough there were several pop-style test pieces at the time, this piece is the most popular of them. Due to its popularity, Shoji himself made numerous arrangements and editions.
