David Resnick

Biography

David Resnick is the director of instrumental music at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. He has served as a clinician, adjudicator and guest conductor throughout the Midwest.

He has also written two successful stage musicals; "Memories of a Non-Jewish Childhood" and his collaboration with Dubuque's own Paul Hemmer, "Sketches of Dubuque."

As a composer, David Resnick has published works for band, choir, instrumental groups, as well as solo literature. He also recently performed one of his pieces with Carol Anne Chouteau and the Quad City Symphony: "A Bit of Heaven in Davenport" which has been designated as the "official song" of Davenport, Iowa. His works have been selected for honor festivals and even highlighted on National Public Radio.
