Daniel Weinberger

Biography

Daniel Weinberger (b. 1997, Wolfsberg) is an Austrian conductor and composer.

He studied trumpet and vocal pedagogy with emphasis brass music and choral conducting at the Conservatory of Klagenfurt (Austria). Since 2002 he has worked as a music teacher for trumpet, head of the local music school Frantschach and as head of the ensemble training course in the Lavant Valley (Austria). In his function as district choral director, he succeeded in establishing the Youth Orchestra and the Lavant Valley District selection Orchestra Lavant Valle, with which he successfully participated in October 2009 at the 4th Austrian Youth Wind Band Competition in Linz.

Daniel Weinberger is not only active as a conductor, but also as an arranger and composer.
