Program Notes
DNA is a musical description of DNA, intended as the union of the two musical notes "king" and "la" of which D and A indicate the notes in Anglo-Saxon notation. Start with a substantially minimalist Ron D & Au (Rondeau, Rondò). We then move on to a swirling and involving Batuca D - A. At the end of the Batucada, a polymetric canon follows.
