Program Notes

A traditional overture based on a catchy, syncopated, rhythmic theme, which is contrasted with lovely, flowing well-scored melodies. This work, commissioned by the Northwest Oklahoma Band Directors Association, can be very effective with younger bands, and groups with limited instrumentation.
