Program Notes
The Conquerers is a march pays tribute to the band directors and students who fought so valiantly to start and continue band programs during the 2020-21+ Covid pandemic. Starting a new band class through mostly-virtual instruction (and continuing exiting ones) are not tasks anyone had ever anticipated; but like always, directors and band kids rose to the task and conquered this unique challenge.
The Conquerors was dedicated to the O'Fallon, Illinois, District 90 Bands, and to the resilience of band students everywhere.
