Program Notes
The Norrlandsfarger Marsch (The Norrland Colors) was composed during Viktor Widqvist's time as bandleader in Boden, in the northern part of Sweden. The desolate but magnificent geography in Norrland is rendered in beautiful colors by the melodies. Norrlandsfarger has been adopted as the official march of the Northern Military Command.
