Program Notes

This exciting work for young band has all the ingredients necessary for providing a successful teaching and performing experience. A joyous opening statement, memorable themes, solid scoring and great percussion parts all come together to provide a musical portrait of the beautiful surroundings located in and around the area of Las Vegas, Nevada. In addition, a highly expressive middle section will provide your students with a wonderful opportunity for learning how to shape those all-important musical phrases.

Clark County Celebration is dedicated to the 2007 Clark County District Middle School Honor Band.
