Program Notes
Children’s March is dedicated “To my little friend, Diane Keedwell, and all the other children in the world,” and has the subtitle “On songs the youngsters sing.” This medley march includes excerpts from the songs “Mary had a little lamb,” “Jingle bells,” “Sing a song of sixpence,” “The farmer in the dell,” “Lazy Mary, will you get up?,” “Hickory dickory dock,” “Rock-a-bye baby,” “Pop! Goes the weasel,” and “London bridge is falling down.”
