Errata

Possible errata in some editions:

  • E-flat Alto Saxophone II, m.5: Last note of the triplet is an F-sharp in the score, but a G in the part. (Two g’s in a row rather than the descending scale.)
  • Euphonium, m.16: Second note is a C in the score, but a B-flat in the part. (Two B-flats in a row rather than the descending scale.)
  • Trombone II, m.26: Last note is G in the score, but an F in the part.
  • Trombone II, m.28: Second note is a G-flat in the score but an A-flat in the part.


Program Notes

David Holsinger based this beautiful composition on the Bradbury tune Jesus Loves Me, which can be heard in various iterations throughout the work. This is a standard work for young developing wind bands.
