Biography
Charles Michiels (b. 1972) is a Belgian composer and clarinetist.
Michiels studied at conservatories in Tournai, Mons, and Brussels, Belgium. He won several awards at national and international competitions. He has given recitals throughout the world, and conducts several wind bands and choirs. Currently, he teaches clarinet and transposition at the Tournai Municipal Conservatory of Music, where he also conducts part song classes. He also teaches choir conducting at the Brussels Royal Conservatory of Music.
