Program Notes

Written in classic overture style with lots of syncopation and rhythmic intensity, Celebrata uses a four-note motive in both the fast and slow sections of this very playable but exciting overture to provide unity and cohesion throughout. The driving percussion and unique harmonies make this piece a real winner.
