Program Notes

With dramatic syncopations and changing meter leading the way, the musical elements blended into this work are unique and tremendously appealing. Along with energetic, rhythmically charged elements throughout, the beautiful melodic content in the middle section provides a wonderful opportunity for lyrical maturity.

- Program Note from publisher

The Cauldron brings to life all the mystical elements of the famous "Double, double, toil and trouble" poem from William Shakespeare's immortal play, The Tragedy of McBeth. First performed in 1606 and subsequently published in 1623, MacBeth has become one of Shakespeare's most popular literary works.
