Program Notes

The technical demands of this piece are within the range of intermediate players. The rhythms used include dotted half and dotted quarter notes, but there are no syncopated rhythms based on their note values. The rest are simple combinations of quarter, half, and eighth notes. There are several accidentals throughout the piece, and the length of the piece requires proper breath control and endurance from all winds.
