Program Notes
Bridge Square is located at the center of Northfield, Minnesota, and, like so many smaller cities and towns, it is a place of great community activity. Upon occasion, the Northfield Elementary Band, under its conductor Roger Jenni, presents an outdoor concert at Bridge Square that highlights the learning that has taken place within the band program. The impressions made by these events in particular led to the titling of this march, which is based on a simple, innocent tune shared between a father and his daughters.
