Program Notes

The Brazilian Folk Dance Suiteconsists of three folk songs freely adapted for concert band and set in dance forms native to Brazil -- the bossa nova, the beguine, and the quickstep. Ech dance is quite straightforward and presents no rhythmic or technical problems.
