Program Notes

This lush setting for winds, harp and vibraphone perfectly captures the spirit of Mack Wilberg's famous arrangement for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Soaring oboe and flute solos highlight Kirkpatrick's lesser-known melody, bringing a lustrous glow to a Christmas concert.
