Program Notes

The manifestation of this work occurred during a moment in my life when I began realizing the depth of the world around me. This piece expresses both the awe of such a breakthrough and the struggle of comprehending the magnificent world, both physical and spiritual, that surrounds us. This work is simply the tip of the iceberg -- once we realize there is more to life than originally thought, we must then begin the process of figuring out exactly what is missing in our own lives. This work provides a musical glimpse of the world I have only begun to discover.
