Atmospheres is a marimba quartet with contemporary tonalities and intricate rhythmic interplay. It originally premiered October 28, 1989 at Judy Bayley Theatre, Las Vegas, Nevada by the Las Vegas Marimba Quartet under the direction of Jack Cenna which was used to accompany the choreography of Cathy Allen, modern dance faculty/choreographer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
