Program Notes

Inspired by a stunning sunrise, this moving work includes a beautiful and memorable melody moving amid changing textures and harmonies. The gentle beginning evokes a tranquil quality, portraying the first signs of light before breathtaking colors unfold with uncommon sensitivity. After a dramatic climax, the music subsides, casting a spell not soon forgotten.
