Program Notes

Armed Forces Salute is a medley consisting of the theme songs of the five United States military servies: The Caisson Song (Army); Semper Paratus (Coast Guard); The Marines' Hymn (Marine Corps); The U.S. Air Force; and Anchors Aweigh (Navy).

This medley is often used to pay tribute to servicemen and women, veterans and their families in the concert audiences, who are invited to stand and be honored.
