Program Notes

An easy arrangement of Chester, America (My Country 'tis of Thee) and America the Beautiful. The piece starts with an introduction based on America the Beautiful in 4/4 and moves into Chester, both in the key of Bb. After a caesura, the key shifts to F and the time signature to 3/4 for the slower America. A brief snare solo in 4/4 ushers in the new faster tempo for America the Beautiful, which is back in Bb.
