Program Notes
Roger Cichy's exquisite setting of this ever-popular American melody is combined with a lovely original lullaby. Inspired by a daughter's enduring love for her mother, who fought and ultimately lost her courageous battle against cancer. This rich musical setting weaves the Amazing Grace melody throughout and combines it with the original lullaby which is intended to signify the mother's powerful spirit that continues in the hearts and minds of those loved her.
