Biography

Adrian Hernandez is an American soldier, composer and arranger.

Sergeant First Class Hernandez, from Duncanville, Texas, has served as staff arranger for the U.S. Army Field Band since 2007, and has arranged music for each of the Army Field Band's four performing components.

He received a Master of Music degree from Towson University (2012), and a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Texas at Austin (2004). SFC Hernandez's teachers include Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Kevin Puts, Dan Welcher, Donald Grantham, William Kleinsasser, and Jonathan Leshnoff.

SFC Hernandez's work as a film composer has been exhibited with films screened in numerous festivals around the country. Adrian recently participated in the 2011 ASCAP/NYC Film Scoring workshop receiving mentoring from Sean Callery (from the TV show 24), Mark Snow (from the TV Show X-Files), and Ira Newborn (from The Naked Gun series).
