Program Notes
The melodic and rhythmic twists and turns of this outstanding traditional march call to mind the antics of a troupe of tumblers and aerialists. In this, his first published band work, the Michigan composer balances the stirring melodies with equally well-crafted counter melodies and a gorgeous trio.
